Disabled Accessibility at Hammerhead

Is disabled parking available?

Disabled parking is provided, it is located in front of the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall and in front of the Cedric Ford Pavilion - The Gamers Lounge.

Is the event wheelchair friendly?

Yes, there are no steps, everything is on one level. There is plenty of space around the games tables for easy access for wheelchairs in both the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall and the Cedric Ford Pavilion - The Gamers Lounge.

Are there disabled toilets?

Yes, there are disabled toilets in the outside block located to the right of the George Stephenson Hall and also inside the George Stephenson Hall and in the Gamers Lounge.


Hammerhead Figures

Can I buy other Hammerhead figures?

Thehammerhead miniatures from Hammerhead 2014, '15, '16, '17, '18 and '19 will also be available to purchase from the information desks in the George Stephenson Hall and in the Gamers Lounge. These figures have been specially sculpted for the show and are cast in lead free pewter.


Parking

Is parking Free?

Yes, parking is free and plentiful and directly outside the halls

Disabled parking bays are in front of both the George Stephenson Hall and the Gamers Lounge.

Is disabled parking available?

Disabled parking is provided, it is located in front of the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall and in front of the Cedric Ford Pavilion - The Gamers Lounge.


Refreshments

What refreshments are available?

Refreshments are available from the Bistro in the George Stephenson Hall, serving hot and cold food and a range of beerages. The seating area next to the Bistro has plenty of tables and chairs, for you to sit down and enjoy your refreshments.


Tabletop Sales

Can I book my tabletop sales table in advance?

Yes, bookings for the Tabletop Sale slots will be open from 1st February 2024.

There are a limited number of tables available, it's on a first come first served basis, so book early!

 

Please note that there is no facility to store goods before or after your allocated time slot.

 

Can I book for a tabletop sales table on the day?

Subject to availability, Tabletop slots can be booked on the day . Please check with the staff at the Tabletop Sales desk upon arrival.


Entry to Hammerhead

How much is entry to the show?

Entry: £5 per adult, £3 for minors (16 and under), Children under 9 free
The Hammerhead 2024 miniature can be purchased for £1.00, subject to availability.

Can I purchase entry to the show on the day?

Yes, you can purchase entry tickets/wristbands on the day from the entry desks in George Stephenson Hall. Please note payment to entry is by cash.


Transport

Can I get a bus to Newark Showground?
There is no public transport running to the Newark Showground but taxi’s are available from the railway station at a reasonable cost.
