HAMMERHEAD returns on Saturday, 27th February 2027. Clear your schedule for the ultimate Saturday session—a full day of total immersion in the world of wargames, miniatures, and community. The gates of the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall will be open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Mark your calendars Folks! It is going to be fun!

Licensed to hold up to 3,000 people, the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall is Nottinghamshire’s largest purpose-built exhibition space and one of Newark Showground’s busiest and most versatile venues.
Entry: £5 per adult, £3 for minors (16 and under), Children under 9 free. You can purchase entry tickets/wristbands on the day from the entry desks in George Stephenson Hall. PLEASE NOTE PAYMENT TO ENTRY IS BY CASH ONLY

There is no public transport running to the Newark Showground but taxi’s are available from the railway station at a reasonable cost. READ THE GETTING THERE section of the website

There are several hotels nearby. In the CONTACT page you can find the link of the to Newark Showground website itself where a link to accomodations is provided. Some further afield can be found using a quick search on the internet.
This is a list of ATM Cash Points that are located near Hammerhead show if you find yourself short of cash. Please note: Some of these cash points charge for withdrawals.
YES! Parking is free and plentiful and directly outside the halls.
Disabled parking is provided, it is located in front of the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall and in front of the Cedric Ford Pavilion - The Gamers Lounge.

YES! Accessible Gaming for Everyone. HAMMERHEAD is a fully wheelchair-friendly event. Both the George Stephenson Exhibition Hall and the Cedric Ford Pavilion (The Gamers Lounge) are situated on a single level with no steps or steep inclines to navigate. We pride ourselves on a spacious layout, ensuring there is plenty of room around every gaming table for easy access and a comfortable experience.
YES! For your convenience, accessible restrooms are situated throughout the event site. You can find disabled-access toilets within the George Stephenson Hall, inside the Cedric Ford Pavilion (The Gamers Lounge), and in the external facilities block located just to the right of the main exhibition hall.
Yes, bookings for the Tabletop Sale slots will be open from 1st February 2026. There are a limited number of tables available, it's on a first come first served basis, so book early! Please note that there is no facility to store goods before or after your allocated time slot. Subject to availability, Tabletop slots can be booked on the day . Refreshments are available from the Bistro in the George Stephenson Hall, serving hot and cold food and a range of beverages. The seating area next to the Bistro has plenty of tables and chairs, for you to sit down and enjoy your refreshments.
